Seats problem

I purchased a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt on 6-3-05 and after taking delivery began noticing the drivers seat moves ever so slightly back and forth in its track . This can be annoying at times . I brought the vehicle back to correct the problem only to be informed that it was working within gm specs and nothing could be done. I was also told that gm would be informed of this and if they get enough complaints to consider it a problem a fix might become available.
