Tire Sidewall problem #3

With less than 500 miles on my brand new 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt, while traveling on the highway at 60 mph, my right rear tire exploded. After getting over to the shoulder, I smelled rubber burning and discovered that the sidewall was completely separated from the rest of the tire. After taking my tire to a dealer for inspection, they stated that there was a hole in the tire which caused it to deflate and my driving on the deflated tire to the side of the road (maybe 100 yds) caused the sidewall to separate.
