Three problems related to body have been reported for the 1996 Chevrolet Corsica. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The paint on my 1996 Chevrolet Corsica has been peeling off for over a year now. First I noticed little spots here and there, but now they are all over. The roof top is almost completely gone! I can't take it to a car wash because I 'm afraid I'll come out with a paintless car!.
Was hit from behind by another vehicle travelling 70mph while consumer was at a complete stop, and the glove box drawer dislodged and hit son who broke his nose. The vehicle was totalled.
This problem was not brought to the attention to the owner since he was out of the country while in the army. When the Chevrolet company was finally notified they stated nothing could be done since the car had more than 32,000 miles on it at the time of the report. Since the report was filed with Chevrolet, the author has noted many other Corsicas with the same problem. Nothing has been done about this and this isn't the first Chevrolet vehicle I've owned within the last five years that had some problem with the paint.
