Failure Date: 09/01/1997

Vehicle on wet pavement and jerks when the brakes are applied. Also, extended stopping distance occurs. Dealer contacted and attempted to repair the vehicle, but problem still exists. Problems can result in serious accidents.

4 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Intermittently when the brakes are applied hard they lock up, and the pedal goes to the floor, resulting in extended stopping distance. The dealer has test driven the vehicle and could not duplicate the problem.

5 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Front end noisy due to premature wea rof the brakes.

6 Brake Electric Antilock problem

When applying the abs brakes the pedal travels to floor, causing extended stopping distance, nearly resulting in a collision. Dealer cannot identify the problem. Please give any further details.

7 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Owner has abs brakes. While applying brakes they skip, causing vehicle to stop and go intermittently. Vehicle also has unknown vibration in steering.
