Gasoline Engine problems of the 1997 Chevrolet Corvette

1 Gasoline Engine problem

Failure Date: 07/27/2000

Vehicle suddenly loses power and dramatically decelerates to 5 mph at any time while driving, this failure has almost caused an accident, dealer can not remedy the problem.

2 Gasoline Engine problem

Failure Date: 09/21/1999

While driving vehicle loses power. If consumer was driving 50 mph vehicle would drop down to 5 mph and start to shake.

3 Gasoline Engine problem

Failure Date: 06/09/1999

Vehicle continually shuts down while driving 70-80 miles per hour, several remedy attempts (gas tanks, modulars, computer replacements) replacements, however no remedy at this time. Mjs.

4 Gasoline Engine problem

Failure Date: 02/24/1998

While driving the vehicle, for no particular reason, the car's check engine/reduced engine power/service traction system lights all come on at the same time. We have had the car serviced for the same problem 6 times, at 3 different dealers. Our major CO.

5 Gasoline Engine problem

Failure Date: 04/30/1997

Engine dies while driving at low speeds, have to wait for a few minutes and will restart, will die again after one half of ta block, dealer can not locate the problem.
