One problem related to fuel hoses lines/piping and fittings has been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Corvette. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The vehicle was started up then turned off. There was a whisteling sound, and white smoke was noticed coming from the right rear wheel, the vehicle was then back up and flames where noticed. The fire department put the fire out, and determined the cause was the fuel filter. Chevrolet has been contacted.
