Failure Date: 06/01/2010

2002 Chevrolet Corvette fuel leak/smell near left side of fuel tank. Fuel is visible and accumulates near fuel neck hose. Occurs frequently through daily driving.

2 Fuel Hoses Lines/piping And Fittings problem

Failure Date: 01/25/2008

At about 15000 miles the fuel tank began leaking/smelling of gas after a fill up. Dealer did replace tank under the extended warranty. Dealer description: 25565 leaking fuel tank line l1280 2. 1 (gmpp) inspected the fuel system for a leak and found the hard line to the top of the fuel tank is leaking at the connection to the tank. Removed the fuel tank and drained the tank. Swapped the sending unit and installed the new tank. Repairs were done on the right side tank. Tech 2310.
