While driving at moderate speed, roof panel separated and flew off. Roof panel damaged. Fortunately, it (barely) missed missed hitting the car behind me. Panel had separated from frame (roof frame is removable but the frame itself remained properly attached to vehicle). Vehicle is currently at dealer who has agreed to replace the roof. When vehicle brought in, I was told it was the second 2006 Corvette coupe seen with identical problem that week!.
2006 Corvette roof delamination and detachment which could lead to injury to individuals in near proximity to vehicle while vehicle is being driven - detachment hasn't occurred yet however in my opinion poses a serious risk of injury to the general public.
