1 Adaptive Equipment problem

Failure Date: 06/12/2015

I became trapped inside this late model Corvette. I opened, entered, sat in and simply closed the unlocked drivers door of this car located in the for sale section of the carmax store in waukesha WI. The doors locked approximately 1 minute after entry. All attempts to unlock via the unlocking door switch and interior door lock stem at interior door sill failed to unlock and grant exit. A female store visitor flagged a female sales associate 5 minutes later to unlock the vehicle and open the door. Oxygen levels decreased rapidly in its windows up/doors closed configuration. I was in a near panic state. I was fortunate temperatures were in the 60's and cloud cover was high. I feared for my safety and believe fatal consequence can easily result from this engineering defect.
