1 Transmission Noise problem

Failure Date: 04/27/2016

While driving I would hear rattling noises coming from under the vehicle. I took it to a repair facility and it was discovered that a propeller shaft bolt inside the torque tube assembly came lose and damaged the bearing inside the torque tube. It is my understanding that this could have caused the transmission to freeze/fail, lose control and cause an accident. I had to have the entire torque tube assembly removed and replaced. This occurred one week after the expiration of gm's five year drivetrain warranty.

2 Transmission Noise problem

Failure Date: 08/30/2014

Vehicle parked on level ground in store parking lot. Person parked next to my car stated, heard "weird noises', coming from vehicle then it started to roll into dyed swamp. Car equipped with automatic transmission. Vehicle will not start with transmission in parked position but will continue to roll forward with transmission in parked position on its own. Air bags was not deployed & had to be towed. Transmission problem?.
