Since ownership starting 09/28/12 I have had multiple incidents of the air bag light for the passenger side illuminate. It is intermittent and comes and goes randomly. I just got it back from the dealer after complaining about it and they said they couldn't do anything since there were no codes in the computer. I'm a member of the Corvette forum and have seen numerous postings concerning this problem. It seems to be the connector under the drivers seat that is designed so it drags and catches on the carpet thus moving the connector and its wiring. The dealer made no attempt to contact Chevrolet technical assistance about this and just sent me on my way out the door. They did not attempt to check the wires under the seat when I asked about that. On one trip about a month ago I had a passenger on board and the passenger airbag indicator said it was still off when he was sitting there.
Indicator light warning that the air bag system is not working began appearing intermittently. It seems to come on and off while hitting bumps or by readjusting the seat belt.
Air bag light comes on most of the time. Did a search this seems to be an on going problem.
