When headlights are in auto mode (I. E. Headlights off in sunlight and daytime running lights on, and headlights on in darkness), they will go in and out from on to off doesn't matter weather it is bright sunlight or darkness, and in darkness the headlights will sometimes turn totally off - there is no consistency as to when this happens. This could be a very hazardous condition especially when driving at night and the headlights turn off. I have taken the car to a Chevrolet dealer for repair and a ambient light sensor has been ordered, however there has been no indication as to when this part may be available. The headlights arbitrarily turning off in darkness could be a very hazardous condition. The bad light sensor has been documented by many owners of Corvettes and seems to have impacted autos build at least from about Feb 2022 through may 2022.
