general problems of the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette

My fiancé, [xxx] died on [xxx], while driving his 2023 Chevrolet Corvette z06 convertible . He was passing another car on a straight road ,a witness confirmed he was not speeding excessively. Suddenly, he lost control of the vehicle, crashed, and the car burst into flames. I’ve since learned that gm issued a recall for this model due to fuel spillage and fire risk. Other owners have reported transmission and instrument panel failures. I believe a defect in the vehicle may have caused or contributed to [xxx] ’s death. I am requesting a formal investigation into this incident and the safety of the 2023 Corvette z06. I am also pursuing legal action to hold gm accountable. While I was on vacation in gatlinburg TN my vehicle parked in my home garage turned on by itself producing carbon monoxide in my property I reached out numerous times to gm and they failed to do anything about it. I have footage please assist thanks.

The backup camera display will occasionally not display what is behind the vehicle (the screen is blank with a strange icon in the middle of it). This is not a consistent problem. It sometimes works, and sometimes it doesn't. I almost backed over a child who wasn't visible. In my research this problem also happens to other gm vehicles.

Vet delivered 5/31/22. I noticed that the daylight driving lights came on when it was dark and headlights came on during the day, completely backwards when vehicle headlights switched to "auto" . Took vehicle to dealership and they replaced the dash light sensor but this did't fix the problem. Dealership notified Chevrolet regarding the problem. Went to the web page titled Corvetteforum. Com and noticed other '23 Corvette owners with the same problem. It's been almost 6 months with "no" word from Chevrolet as to when this issue will be resolved.
