The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Corvette the contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 24v418000 (seat belts) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted and confirmed no parts were available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
Seat belt fully retracted and could not be released in first day. Had to drive 155 miles without operating seatbelt. This is a safety issue. My build date was 9/22 if you look at the forums this was not the only car built that day with a failed seat belt. Seems like bad parts to me.
