3 Instrument Panel problem

Failure Date: 07/06/2011

Sitting at a stop light, the speedometer went up to over 60mph and slowly fell back down to zero. This has happened multiple times since the initial incident. I took it into the dealer where I bought it and they said they would have to replace the speedometer and needed to order a new one. I decided to wait until I moved (I was in the middle of a cross country move) and when I took it in for the 7500 mile maintenance, I asked the dealer service center in my new city to check out the speedometer. They didn't find anything and can't do anything about it until one of their technicians witnesses it.
