Anti freeze smell in car and head rests pop up by themselves. Dealer used gm fix to stop the odor. It helped but didn't solve the problem. Dealer claimed to have adjusted the headrests but it didn't help at all. They still pop up by themselves.
The contact owns a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact stated that the support for the headrest restraint would not remain fastened onto the front driver seat. The headrest was replaced but the replacement head rest could not be adjusted to the occupant's height. The dealer and the manufacturer were made aware of issue and advised the contact that there had been a design change on the head restraints and the contact had been provided with that new design. The current and failure mileage was 3,000.
