Radio is turning on and off. Stabilitytrak control light comes on power steering give out and brakes.
I was driving by myself down a busy road, luckily not too busy with traffic and the service engine soon light came on with comment stability traction. I immediately pulled over, turned the car off and called our chevy dealer. I was instructed to leave the car off a few minutes then turn it back on which I did. All the lights went away. I scheduled an appointment for several days later to have the car checked. The car was fine the rest of the day. The next day around 3 pm I was leaving work the stability traction light came on and then the reduced engine speed light came on. My car dropped to 10 miles an hour I was about rear ended. I turned on hazards. I right at an intersection, I started blowing my horn cause the light turned yellow. I turned into a parking lot. I immediately turned the car off and called the dealer again. The guy on the phone stated turn the car off and on for a few minutes and it did reset. He said I see you have an upcoming appointment. I said yes but I am dropping the car off tonight and he stated okay. Next day they phone me and the"throttle body" was bad. Many, many complaints online about this. He stated he also had to replace the outlet housing, something to do with oil. This was just re-placed 15 months ago but was now out of warranty. A day later I was out $1,053. 99. Luckily I had the money! my point is not only myself but others, many others all over the internet have issues with this throttle body. Why not recall it? do you realize what danger I was in??? thank you.
The contact owns a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. While driving 55 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning and the air bag and electronic stability control lights remained illuminated. In addition, the vehicle would not start immediately when prompted. The contact had to wait approximately ten seconds before the vehicle would start. Furthermore, when the brake pedal was depressed, the contact had to apply a significant amount of pressure before stopping the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. The failure mileage was 11,010.
I was starting to cross a busy intersection when the engine loss power light and stability control light came on. Car would not go over 5 miles an hour. Just about 90 days ago it was at the chevy dealership for same problem where the throttle body and all sensors were replaced.
While driving approx. 40 mph, vehicle stalled, traction stability and check engine lights illuminated, and steering locked. The radio shut off and the radio screen/ env control panel flickered on and off continuously. I continued to drive the car since I was a short distance from home. Checked the battery connections and all seemed to be tight. Drove car to work today but didn't have the issue. I literally just bought this car a week ago and it passed MD state inspection. I am wondering now if the inspection included a obd check.
As I drive down the road my stability trak light comes on and my radio turns on and off. Now my power steering goes out and my car won't always start. I've taken it in 3 times to have these issues fixed and nobody can seem to figure out what is wrong. I've been left stranded with my 3 year old son because my car wont start. I've only had this car 2 months and it is by far the worst car I have ever had.
Radio starts turning on and off, stability control lights flash, power steering gets hard to turn. This is the third time we brought it to the shop. Its good for a week or so and does the samething again. They claim this is the only Cruze they ever heard of doing this. I don't think so not according to your web site somebody knows this is a big problem. Why do dealer ships think lying is the way to solve the problem, I mean it just come out and say ya your daughters car is not the only 2012 Cruze with this problem! my patience are getting a little thin. Car was bought with 20000 miles on it by my oldest daughter who is 20 yrs old and putting herself trough college to become a nurse. She was so happy when she bought the car now she thinks she bought a lemon! car from kissel Chevrolet calumet mi cant figure out the problem, its to late when somebody gets hurt or worse!!!! concernd father.
I have a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze eco, within a year I had to have the turbocharger replaced. Before I had it replace I brought it to the dealer with complaints of losing power and the smell of gas and exhaust. They said working as normal; within days it started making a loud noise. I call onstar to do a diagnosis' it was my turbocharger. It was fix but a few days later it smelt like fumes again. Took it in and they said working as normal. A year later the turbocharger went out again and I paid 1200 to have it fix. Long story short I'm still smelling exhaust even after having all the recalls fix. Now my stability traction control light came on the off again. This car was a lemon from the beginning but I'm out of warranty. I thought by now they would of had a recall on their turbocharger and the oil line that they say that keeps getting block and the exhaust smelll. Is anyone working on all these complaints?.
