Seat Belt problem #1

My drivers side seat belt light would blink occasionally as I was driving thinking my seat belt was not latching however, it was and I cleaned it as best as I could. Still would come on, blinks, turns off, comes on and the sound will even sound to put my seat belt on. All this while the car is in motion, whether I'm driving slowly out of my driveway or down the interstate.

Seat Belt problem #2

I was stopped in highway traffic and rear-ended (I've attached the crash report from the in state police). My seat belt did not engage and my airbag did not deploy causing me to hit my head on the steering wheel resulting in abrasions and two black eyes. This seems to be either a serious design problem or a manufacturer defect. Regardless, the sensors that cause the seat belt to lock should not be in the front of the car as they then provide no protection from a rear end collision.

Seat Belt problem #3

Vehicle accident with another vehicle - airbag did not deploy in accident. Driver hit head on steering wheel. (all airbags deployed on other vehicle (Audi s4. )) told by insurance adjustor he typically does not see airbag deployment on chevy cruize as the sensors are high on the internal frame.
