I was driving my car and all of a sudden out of nowhere my car speed gage starts to bounce up and down my engine sounds like it’s stuck in first gear and won’t shift and I can’t go any faster then 35 mph and I tried to make it to a spot to pull over and it altogether stoped accelerating so I was stuck pulling over right there because it wouldn’t accelerate. I shut it off and let it sit for a bit and it started right back up like normal and drove fine till I got to a certain length of driving and it was doing it all over again like it was in limp mode and all my electrical stuff was on the frits as well so I haven’t been able to drive it since because it keeps doing it and I haven’t spent hundreds of dollars putting it in a shop three times already only to have it go back and do it again and my brakes when I press on them make a squishing sound and then some clicking sound before it goes into limp mode I don’t know where to even begins to fix it at and it was all out of nowhere. It was driving fine then all of a sudden this crap starts.
Abs pump motor stuck x2 & is available for inspection. Brakes could potentially fail putting mine & other's safety at risk. Warning lamps were illuminated. This is the second time this has happened, pump motor was already replaced. There is a recall issued but not for my vehicle specifically. Can bus communication issues.
Power flickering and multiple errors lit up on dashboard including loss of stability control. Radio kept flashing on and off. Would show back up when pressed brake or regular car in motion. -- looked up online and appears to be known negative battery cable --- which doesn't show on NHTSA recalls or errors to look out for.
When I drive my vehicle my brakes work fine most of the time. From time to time when I'm at a red light the pedal will slowly start to go all the way down and car will start moving forward. I have to release it and quickly pump the brake again to stop it. Then this has happened more than just a few times; when pulling out of a parking spot on reverse my brakes won't respond and the car will just go backwards and I have to pull the emergency brake because there is no other way of stoping it. Now I do not want to hit any vehicle or person!!!! I have taken it in to shops to have it looked at but no one seams to find the problem, because apparently the breakers have no visible issues. Also one reverse light if not both at times, will stay on while driving.

Automatic transmission failure can result in vehicle rolling backwards for 3-5 seconds in duration after releasing brake while. While on flat ground - this causes danger to other driver as the expect other vehicles to be moving after a traffic light turns green. While on an incline - this condition may pose a danger to pedestrians and other motorists as the automatic transmission will allow the vehicle to roll backwards a great distance. The distance and speed of travel backwards will vary based on angle of incline of street or road. When this condition occurs - the driver is completely unaware and may not be able to apply the brake in enough time to prevent collision with other vehicles or pedestrians. This condition happens when: 1 - transmission is hot (about 40 min drive time) 2 - brake is depressed for longer than 3 seconds while sitting at light. 3 - releasing brake may or may not result in this condition happening. Service 1 - the vehicle shows no codes for transmission failure. 2 - multiple gm dealers have confirmed software of vehicle is up to date. 3 - multiple dealers have mixed statements if they can duplicate the issue or not. Dealer 1 says - "it's your driving habits. We reset the computer and it will re-learn how you drive. " dealer 2 says - "we were able to duplicate your issue and are awaiting a response from gm" - when speaking to gm they indicated they never received an email form the dealer. Condition was first seen at approximately 68k miles and has continued on/off until current mileage of 98k. Dealer and gm corporate have had vehicle for greater than 30 days and are unable to provide resolution. As a firefighter - it is my professional opinion that this condition may present a risk to public welfare.
Stabilitrak vendor keeps coming on. When I'm driving and make a turn, my car seems as if it's gliding. My breaks skip, especially when hitting a bump and they act as if they don't want to stop. My car cuts on and off in traffic, I've almost died several times while turnning. Completely shuts off, steering wheel locks up and all. My car is now wrecked due to these defects. It was raining, I was turning, car got to gliding and sliding, breaks went out and my car lost control! I almost flipped! I just bought the car! pictures in my phone.
Tl-the contact 2014 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact stated that when she bought the car the vehicle had electrical issues and was cutting on and off. The brakes were skipping. And would come to jerking stop. These issues occurred while she test drove the vehicle. The dealer premier car sales llc 5425 elvis presley blvd, memphis, TN 38116 (901) 800 stated he was going to fix these issues before the vehicle sale was final. The dealer claimed he took the car to Chevrolet for the repairs. The brake issues recurred and the contact went back to the dealer and he said to take the vehicle to Chevrolet for repairs since it was under warranty. Before the contact could get to Chevrolet she got into a crash. While making a left hand turn in the rain vehicle cut off and slide into the side of the curve. The axles , rotar and the spindle and rims were broken. The vehicle was towed to her home. A police report was not filed and there were no injuries. The vehicle was taken to Chevrolet and they stated that were no recalls but performed a diagnostic test to confirm the repairs. They then referred the contact to general motors. The contact bought new rotars, a new spindle and rims and had them replaced by and independent mechanic. General motors refused to investigate the vehicle because the contact had repairs done before they could investigate the vehicle. The brakes are still malfunctioning and this time. The failure mileage was 36,000. Tf.
When driving 55 mph the vehicle in front of me started to stop to make a turn, the brakes went to the floor and I rear ended the truck in front of me.
While engaging the vehicle in reverse the break fails to stop the vehicle even when pressed all the way down. This happens every so often. Only happens in reverse gear. The car keep rolling back until gear is changed to drive.
When in reverse, the brakes have a tendency to fail. The car continues rolling backward, even with the brake pedal pressed to the floor board, creating the risk of backing into obstacles like vehicles, trees, pedestrians. No such issues occur when in any other gear.
The car was taken in to be routinely serviced and it was noticed that there was an oil leak. The dealership only provide a temporary fix. Trying to get an apt as a followup was pointless, because the dealership indicated that they were busy. Well, the car caught fire and the serv ice dept. Refused to acknowledge that there was a problem and that they were too busy the car was being driven on a highway, there was a popping sound, and then the car caught fire.
The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze. While the vehicle was in reverse, with the brake pedal depressed, the brake pedal became difficult to depress and failed to stop the vehicle. The failure recurred each time the brake pedal was depressed. The vehicle was taken to paddock Chevrolet (located at 3232 delaware Ave kenmore, NY 14217) where it was diagnosed that the brake vacuum pump and pipe assembly were missing from the vehicle and could not be repaired under the warranty due to the missing part. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 28,800.
Saturday may 13 2017, 10:45 am clear, sunny skies, dry road. A vehicle three cars ahead of me suddenly stopped. The other vehicles in front of me slammed on their brakes, and when I applied my brakes, nothing happened and I ended up ramming the vehicle ahead of me. I was traveling approximately 30 mph, and was a car -length from the vehicle ahead of me. All vehicles were going straight.
I have purchased this vehicle used in July of 2015 from the Chevrolet schumacher dealership located in north palm beach, florida I currently have 61,939mi. My last oil change was in 12/2016 and is due at 64,000mi. To date I have had numerouse issues with this vehicle from installing new spark plugs, brakes that sound like an amtrak train, and now my engine light comes on and my bumper-to-bumper warranty is already expired at like 33,000mi. So now I fall under the power train warranty which covers your engine and transmission. However I am not sure what is causing my engine light to come on, I really dont want to pay $160. 00 for a diagnostic test and then have to pay on top of that $800 for an issue with my engine. I shouldn't be having these problems especially since it will mark my 2 year anniversary having this vehicle in July 2017. I am very displeased right now and would like this issue to be investigated and that someone from this government agency contact the dealer located in north palm beach so they can find out what exactly is wrong with my car. Something like this should happen to cars that are 5 years old not 1 1/2 years old.
I was leaving work at approximately 0600hrs, I only warmed the car for a few minutes, the temperature was slightly below 0. The back roads are packed snow, I was making a left turn, at approximately 100 yards there is a right turn, I tried hitting the breaks as I was coming up to the turn, the pedal was stiff and difficult to push. I tried pumping the breaks, it felt like there were no power breaks. I could not feel the vehicle slowing until I hit a snowbank also hitting a tree. Impacting the nose dead center. I was traveling approximately 20-30 mph.

My Chevrolet Cruze 2014 model car has a problem with brakes. I have 6500 miles on car. During the car is running the hand break light was on and the followed by engine light. And was hardly able to break. I managed to take the car to service center. Ray Chevrolet service center checked my car and told me that break wiring's are damaged and needs to replace otherwise I cant drive the car. How can a wiring in side the car can get damaged and result in failure of brakes. The car is only one year old and 6500 miles on it. The wiring inside the car is not a regular maintenance item like oil change or tires. I dont know when will it happens again. Attached is the bill of service report.
Break fluids low, hand break light on. When I started the car in the morning, the hand break light is on, and I called the service center and sheduled an appointment. They run the diagnosis check and I was informed the break wiring was faulty and I was asked to pay out of my pocket.
At 55mph I felt that I had plenty of time to stop in a hurry. I applied firm pressure on the breaks and the breaks locked up. The car began to go into a skidding motion and I had absolutely no control over the steering wheel to move out of the way, I could have avoided this collision if I turned to the right, but because I had no steering ability I rear-ended them from my skid. The abs braking system, it is suppose to help me by pumping the brakes for me, but it didn't. I sustained a broken leg when the air bag deployed at my leg. On other occasions, I had also experienced the loss of power while driving. . Car would hesitate and then power and thought there was something wrong with the transmission. Brought it in for that and they said there was nothing wrong with it.
My Cruze diesel around 30k miles, had an electrical issue which resulted in the dealership replacing the radio and other electrical nodes. Around 40k miles the battery and alternator went bad. None of which were covered by the dealership so I had to pay for it myself. Since 45k miles, the car has randomly popped up a message saying the engine power is reduced. I travel to large urban areas and this has happened to me in the worst of situations and I am lucky to be alive due to this issue. This now comes on often and is not covered by the chevy dealership I went to. I just purchased this car in 2014. Seriously considering the lemon law.

Brakes locked up (anti-lock braking system faulty) causing the car to skid rather than slow down during stop and go traffic. I waqs unable to turn the steering wheel and could not even try to swerve to avoid the other vehicle. Car was unable to stop in time and there was a collision.
