To whom it may concern, I would like to file a complaint on the safety hazard caused by faulty blind spot detectors on chevy Cruzes. I started receiving a notification on my dashboard that the blind spot alert system needed service. Only a week later I was receiving notifications that the alert was turned off. When I took it to the chevy dealer they ran the software and said that it was defective and they needed to replace the blind spot detector modules for $900. At first gm seemed willing to work and start a case file and lowered the price to $734. Currently my cars blind spot isn't working and it seems to have spread to the rear cross traffic alert which is notifying me that it's turned off as well. The chevy dealer said that they would try and replace the blind spot modules and hopefully that would fix the rear cross traffic detectors. . Read more...

2 Software problem

2014 Chevrolet cruz. Consumer writes in regards to several electrical issues. The consumer stated the vehicle experienced ox/nox sensor issues that caused the engine light to illuminate, software issues, the heating mechanism failed, ignition malfunctioned.
