The Equinox was at a dead stop waiting for an oncoming car to pass so a left turn could be made. A distracted driver rear ended our vehicle at about 55 mph causing our vehicle to spin 180 degrees into the opposing lane of traffic. As a result of the impact both front reclining seats broke into a permanent recline position; the front passenger sustained a back injury and the child in a child restraint seat in the back seat behind the passenger seat was struck on the knee and forehead by the front passenger seat. The driver sustained an injury to the right leg.
January 2015 gm sent a special coverage notice regarding seat heaters that overheat and fail. I object to the diagnosis fee charged if the heater element is not causing the failure. If it is another part such as a heater module I will be charged $110. 00 refunded if I replace the module at extra cost. I feel this is unfair since I do not know what caused the failure of my driver's seat heater and gm should beat the diagnosis fee. Can you help this customer.
Driver seat is having a shortage. Seat moved all the way back and does not move anymore. The motor on the bottom of the seat is extremely hot and the seat is hot. It makes a non stop noise from the shortage. I am scared to drive the vehicle because of the hot seat. It is my only vehicle to get to work and my kids to school.
