1 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 03/01/2016

Our 2007 chevy Equinox had condensation in the headlights, which they were replaced when we bought the vehicle from the dealership may 20, 2014. In October 2015, condensation began building up again in the driver's side lens. We replaced a bulb in November and in February, ended up replacing the entire component due to condensation gathering in the headlight, to the cost of over $400! this is obviously a design flaw for this vehicle.

2 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 05/17/2011

The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox. The contact was driving approximately 25 mph with the headlights in activation and suddenly the headlights failed to operate. The contact continued to drive with extreme caution. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who stated there was an accumulation of water within the lens of both headlights. The technician replaced both headlight bulbs and the water was drained from the lens of both headlights. The manufacturer and dealer were made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000.

3 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 05/17/2010

I have had to replace headlights in this car at least 7 times to date. Since the car was about a year old, there has always been a heavy build-up of condensation inside the headlamp assembly. . . . Which is very poorly designed. The entire assembly from the left side of the car to the right has to be taken off to access the headlamps. Obviously, the assembly design does not seal sufficiently to keep out moisture.

4 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 05/10/2010

My headlights have been fogged up for months and the dealer is telling me they may be able to help as the SUV has 40,000 miles on it.

5 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 10/19/2009

On October 19, 2009, I purchased a Chevrolet Equinox 2007. At the time of purchase I noticed condensation in the passenger side front headlight lens and I was told by the salesman at the time that it would "burn off" if I kept the lights on. Since that time both driver and passenger headlights have developed the condensation issue. The condensation does not burn off just keeps accumulating to the point where the headlight bulb would just burn out. In the past six years I have replaced the various bulbs in the headlight assembly nine times and the bulb socket assemblies have been corroded as a result of the constant presence of moisture. Often times I would be driving at night when the bulbs would go out making this a severe safety issue.

6 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 05/13/2007

I have had my 2007 Equinox sense 2007 and the first few month the left headlight went out and then a few months later it went out again this headlight has went out 5 times and the left headlight has went out about 3 times and each time it goes to westgate chevorlet they can not find anything wrong but they are charging me each time I take it in now. The left headlight is out again so do I need to get a lawyer because I do not think that I should pay for something that keeps happening.
