My windshield has hundreds are tack marks all over and it makes it extremely hard to see at night. And I have a huge heat crack on the windshield that is even continuing in summer time.
1. The airbag sensory on the passenger side goes on and off depending how the person is seated or how much the person weighs. 2. The defrosting/heating mechanism doesn't produce warm enough air to clear the windows for clear visibility. .
I have no heat. The fan blows but only cold air. This is a known defect in Equinox and torrent models with repair costs of over $1,000. 00. Why isn't gm taking responsibiity for their failures?.
Airbag light, tpms, stability light, headlight and taillights go out alot. Called chevy place aout recalls and was told mine is not recalled but problems with my car are same as recall. They fixed gas line recall, took it to where I bought it 2 or 3 times but never got fixed. My speedometer also been out since getting car brake lights always coming on as well, other problems as well. Doesnt seem chevy makes a good vehicle.
Transmission will not shift into third gear without letting off the gas, valve body solenoid problem. Rear wiper motor bad, ignition gets stuck on with key in, have to put gear shifter in and out of gear multiple times to get key out. Electronic stability control off lights comes on after just a few seconds of vehicle being started. Alternator was whining extremely loud, had to replace. Heater blend door broken, cannot have hot air for winter or cold a/c in summer. Sounds like water rushing through dash board when car is started. Very heavy odor of antifreeze inside car when heat is on.

On October 19, 2009, I purchased a Chevrolet Equinox 2007. At the time of purchase I noticed condensation in the passenger side front headlight lens and I was told by the salesman at the time that it would "burn off" if I kept the lights on. Since that time both driver and passenger headlights have developed the condensation issue. The condensation does not burn off just keeps accumulating to the point where the headlight bulb would just burn out. In the past six years I have replaced the various bulbs in the headlight assembly nine times and the bulb socket assemblies have been corroded as a result of the constant presence of moisture. Often times I would be driving at night when the bulbs would go out making this a severe safety issue.
