My wife drove my car and noticed when the wheels turned in any fashion/way/manner, that there was a loud growlig noise and rubbing sound in the wheels. Note: the wheels only had to turn slightly when this was felt in the steering column and the significant vibration on both front floorboards. We took the car in for service and we were told that gm is aware of this, and hopefully gm will find a solution. Thus far the dealers have changed out steering columns which did not fix the problem. The dealer said we have a case number and when gm figures out how to fix it, we will be notified. They said it is not a safety issue (how do they know?)they said since it is not considered a safety issue- gm is in no hurry to get to the design flaw that is causing this loud rubbing, growling noise and vibration. What can we do? xxxxxxx.
