general problems of the 2012 Chevrolet Equinox

I purchased this vehicle back in 2015. It was a used car at this time. I dont know if the recalls were ever done on this vehicle and I need the recalls to be replaced.

Tl-the contact owns a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox. The contact stated that while stationary and driving various speeds, the power operated driver's seat moved independently back and forth compromising the driver's operation of the vehicle. The contact stated the power operated driver's seat pressed the driver against the steering wheel and moved backward which caused difficulty for the driver in regards to the brake and accelerator pedals. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 111,200.

Tl- the contact owns a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox. The contact stated that a notification was received for NHTSA campaign id number: 14v447000 (seats) and indicated that the part was not available nor the remedy. The dealer was contacted for several months and they were not able to provide an interim fix nor a remedy. The manufacturer was contacted and was not able to confirm when the recall repair would be performed. The contact was not able to drive the vehicle due to a bolt potentially fracturing if the seat was moved or adjusted. The manufacturer was notified of the safety concern and was not able to confirm when the part and the remedy would become available. Dyd.
