The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times for the defect. The dealer inspected the vehicle and was able to recreate the failure. The dealer replaced the power steering fluid however, the failure was not corrected. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the steering noise was a characteristic of the vehicle. The failure mileage was 2,000 and the current mileage was 3,200.
