Accelerator Stuck problems of the 2016 Chevrolet Equinox

The contact owns a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox. While driving approximately 50 mph, the accelerator pedal became stuck to the floorboard and the vehicle accelerated to 80 mph without warning. The contact placed the gear shifter into neutral and depressed the brake pedal, but the vehicle continued to accelerate at 80 mph. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 14,000.
