The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed that the high-pressure fuel pump was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The contact was informed that the vehicle was not included in the NHTSA campaign number: 18v358000 (fuel system, gasoline). The contact indicated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 41,400.
