The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox. The contact stated that both side view mirrors would not retain the adjusted settings upon start of the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure obstructed his vison while driving at various speeds. A local dealer was initially notified of the issue; but could not diagnose the failure. The manufacturer was then notified of the failure and referred him to another dealer. The vehicle was taken to white-allen Chevrolet (442 n main st, dayton, OH 45405) on two separate occasions where both the actuator and the driver side arm rest switch were replaced; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
