After tuning off the vehicle, the warning lights disappeared. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the brake control modulator needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to parts being on backorder. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 64,000. The VIN was not available.
The contact owns a 2023 Chevrolet Equinox. The contact stated that while driving at 70 mph, the brake pedal depressed to the floorboard as the vehicle failed to come to a complete stop.
