Purchased my 2013 chevy Equinox from certified Chevrolet dealer in 2023. All 4 of my tires are: michelin latitude tour m+s (radial x green), p235/55 r18. Dot m33j 007x 3012. These are the same tires that were on my SUV at time of purchase & are still on it. Upon purchasing from the dealership, the tires appeared somewhat cracked around the outside walls & where the tread meets the tires. Not being sure how to read all info on tires, I only went by the thickness of the tread, which was great & I didn't question the cracks too much. In the fall of 2024, took my SUV in to have the oil & filters changed, tires rotated, etc, as yearly maintenance. Was made aware at that time by the mechanic that the tread & side walls on the michelin p235/55 r18 were becoming deeply cracked & I should plan on looking to replace the tires for safety reasons as soon as possible. I don't do a lot of driving, except for around town, so I figured I'll replace them sometime within the next year. I'm now in "the next year". It's 2025 & I've noticed over the last 4-5 months, I am losing air frequently from all the tires & am making biweekly trips to the gas station air pumps. In the past 2-3 months the cracks have increased significantly & now I'm afraid to fill to the recommended air pressure. I think these tires are quite dangerous in the way they seem to be breaking apart. My plan is to get them replaced as soon as I'm financially able. My SUV, only had about 36,000 miles on it when I bought it in 2023. Now it only has 42,000. I don't understand how these tires could be in such bad condition with such awesome, thick tread. I've found an awful lot of complaints these specific michelin latitude tour tires breaking/splitting apart. I don't understand why these specific tires haven't been recalled. There's an incredible danger in driving with these faulty tires. I'm surprised there's been no reported accidents. I'm now afraid to drive much at all, until I can get them replaced.

These tires came on my brand new car that is less than a year old (21000 miles). I went for an oil change and the dealership told me I have 3/32nds on my tires! bridgestone new about the rapid wear of these tires but never sent out any kind of notification about it. My dealership had a bulletin about the tires premature wearing. (#20-na-159) bridgestone said they are offering to cover 40% of replacement cost if I get the same tires otherwise they aren't giving anything. . . . . I would never ever get these tires on my car.

While traveling to work on highway 100 east bound in MD. My 2005 chevy Equinox started having vibrations in the steering wheel. I was traveling in the number 2 lane on a 3 lane highway when the vehicle then pulled me to the left. I counter steered to the right and the vehicle pulled me into a hard left straight into a guard rail. I could not control the vehicle after it pulled me to the left which resulted in my crash into the guard rail and another car hitting me afterwards. After the accident I exited the vehicle and looked at the tires located on the left side of the vehicle because I thought that this was the problem. Both tires on the driver side were flat and off of the rims. I could understand the front tire being in this condition but the rear tire was not near any impact. That portion of the car didn't receive any damage which makes no sense to me. A couple of months prior to this accident I had sears install 4 brand new goodyear weatherhandler fuelmax tires. I feel as if these tires or the installation almost ended my life and I wanted to report it so that this doesn't happen to someone else.

There was nothing leading up to this problem. I went outside and my tire was flat. Had it towed to get it fixed and 4. 5 hours later they didn't find anything wrong with it. I watched it and noticed it seemingly was losing air. Then it went flat again a couple weeks later. Still they were unable to figure out why 5 hours later. Noticed when raining that when the tire was left when raining I could hear the air coming out of the tire. I backed the car to see the problem and saw nothing and it stopped. It losses air without reason all the time. Everything has been done except replacing the tire. Which I asked pohanka to the last time and they decided to clean the rims instead. I now have to carry a tire air pump with me at all times.

Replaced tires on my 2005 Chevrolet Equinox with only 11,000 miles. Prior to this, I had to get an alignment however, the tires still went bad. After I purchased my new set of tires, I went back to have them rotated after there recommended miles of 5,000 and the tires are wearing again. I had less than 18,000 miles on it this time around. I can not afford to keep replacing tires every 5,000 miles. The garage told me that they had replaced the tires on several more Equinox that same day with just about the same amount of miles as mine.
