Problem observed in many chevy express vans with identical tail lights. Problem traced to corroded ground connection in both tail light/brake light bulb sockets. Advance auto parts and napa sell replacement wiring harnesses that includes all three bulb sockets. Advance auto parts unit must have the connector reconfigured to match the factory body connector.
