There are 3 doors on the passenger side the one that has the 2 doors for the people in the back to get out that the door with the handle that is in the inside will open but scrapes the outer metal frame. This door did open and work fully until one day and I don't know what happen I wanted to open it and it wouldn't open. I didn't want to force it nor knock any more paint off. I don't know if it is the hinge itself or something else. When I bought it in 1999 don't know how long it was but mark 3 went out of business so I don't know if there was a recall or not . Also when the t. V and vcr are on or just the t. V. Is on it will only play for about 30 minutes before it will kick off and everything will not work including reading lights and tv and vcr. There is a relay switch to reset it and then it will work. I went to dealer and they told me about 400 bucks to repair it . They didn't know what the problem could be. This part is below the headunit that is in back of the drivers side on the console. It is for the people in the back can listen to music or play video games if intended to do so.
The contact owns a 2000 Chevrolet Express 1500. The contact stated that the ignition failed to start with several attempts, however after waiting fifteen minutes the vehicle began to operate normally. The vehicle would also stall unexpectedly when driving and then restart. The failure recurred numerous times. A certified mechanic replaced the pass-lock security system. In addition, the dealer replaced the ignition switch. The failure no longer persisted after both repairs were performed. The manufacturer was notified of the problem.
