Seat Belt problem #1

Purchased this vehicle in order to travel with passengers but on my first attempt this holiday discovered the seat belts will not extend enough to accommodate most passengers. I can not afford to replace them nor do I want to be legally charged with unlawful equipment (or responsible for harm to anyone in my vehicle). This is my first time dealing with such a dilemma and would appreciate any input that the company may advise. Is this an oversite on the manufacturer to build a vehicle that will not meet regulations?.

Seat Belt problem #2

Rear seat belts fail to lock my vehicle is a conversion van built by debut in saginaw michigan. Recently my grandchildren noticed that the rear seat belts failed to lock. Those belts are on the seat/bed unit. The seat belts have the name atwood mobile products on them. I inspected the seat belts and determined that the plastic coating on the male end of the belt prevented the mechanism from properly locking in place. I cut enough of the plastic coating off to allow the ends to properly lock in place. They work fine now. My concern is that there may be many more vans with seat belts that do not properly lock in place.

Seat Belt problem #3

I'm from an independent repair shop. I have recently had problems with this 2009 express van. It has for no reason that I can tell. Deployed the side air bags while backing the vehicle up a driveway @ less than 5 mph. To give you a little history about the vehicle. The customer purchased the vehicle from a used car dealer approximately 6 month ago. The first problem with the vehicle was with the stabi-trac & reduced power light came on . We hooked up are tech-2 scan tool an retrieved the codes an diagnosed the problem with the steering wheel position sensor and the throttle position sensor. We repair those issues and sent it on. A little over a month latter the customer was driving the vehicle down a paved road @ 50- 55 mph on a near straight away. And it deployed the side air bags & seat belt pretensioners . The customer got it repaired at a body shop which replaced side air bags, seat belt pretenioners, side impact sensors & air bag module. Now roughly a week later it deployed the side airbags again while backing up a driveway in reverse to pickup his wife. I have the vehicle now and retrieved the codes ( b0052/ b0023 / b0022 / b0016 / b015 / b0090-71 ) does gm have problems with this type of vehicle? and I'm wondering can a rollover sensor malfunction an cause this to happen. Going by the code b0090 I have removed the carpet on the vehicle and found moisture under the carpet next to the rollover sensor. I removed it and found no corrosion at the wiring or connector. And the modules is a sealed module. Can anybody pull the crash data out of the airbag module so I can tell what parts are all need to be replaced. Any incite would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Seat Belt problem #4

Drivers seat belt became stuck and I had to limbo to get out of my express conversion van. I had to bag on it to make it release. It doesn't latch anymore and I need to replace the bottom section.
