Tl the contact owns 2006 Chevrolet Hhr. The contact stated that there was an odor of fuel while the vehicle was parked. The contact noticed a puddle of fuel at the front of the driver's side underneath the vehicle. The contact also noticed that the vehicle was leaking fuel where the heat shield insulation return and brake line were located. The contact stated that fuel line was corroded with several holes. The contact called reedman toll auto group (1700 Lincoln hwy #101, langhorne, PA 19047) and informed the dealer of the failure and was advised to schedule an appointment. The contact called the manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 128,586.

2 Fuel Hoses Lines/piping And Fittings problem

Failure Date: 08/30/2008

On or about 30aug08 al line to the fuel pump on my 2006 chevy Hhr leaked causing the car to catch on fire. Prior to this incident, the vehicle had been taken to the dealer for warranty work 7 times. To correct other issues. I am writing because I was charged for the repair. It took 30 days to get the part, and general motors sent a representative to the dealership who took over 300 pictures of the car.
