2 Wiring problem

Failure Date: 03/29/2011

The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Hhr. While driving approximately 30 mph the power steering locked up and the brake pedal became stiff. The contact stated the vehicle began to shake vigorously and the engine light illuminated on the dashboard. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technicians stated the engine component wires needed to be re-adjusted because they were loose. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was unavailable. 3 Wiring problem

Failure Date: 08/02/2007

The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Hhr. The contact stated that the front driver side air bag deployed without warning while his spouse was driving. She sustained minor injuries. The dealer stated that the wiring short circuited in the steering harness and caused the failure. The VIN, engine size, and speed were unknown. The current and failure mileages were 27,000.
