One problem related to tire sidewall has been reported for the 1996 Chevrolet K2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
After 4 years and 22,000 miles , all 4 tires have developed sidewall cracks and are leaking air through those cracks. These are the trail mark lt245 x16 tires made by kelley springfield ( goodyear). They are on my chevy K2500 4x4 truck, always rotated and inflated to 40 lbs. When not carrying any loads. Tread wear is even with more than half life remaining.
