Two problems related to tire tread/belt have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet K2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer states that while driving at 70 mph, the driver's side rear tire blewout. The outer belt came loose from the tire and did extensive damage to rear side panel and small damage to back tail gate. Consumer had to purchase a new tire with insurance. Dealer notified.
Uniroyal, lerado awp lt24575r16. Bought tires in November 2001. Tire ply is seperating in all four tires, causing vibration.
