One problem related to brake disc rotor has been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet K2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I have a 2002 Chevrolet 2500 4x4. I noticed the rear brakes were getting very hot. I pulled the rear wheels and noticed the rotors had rust pits in them which I believe caused the brake pads to wear prematurely. The front pads and rotors are fine. I had the rear rotors machined and replaced the brake pads.
