I took delivery of a new c4500 Kodiak crew cab with 0. 7 miles. I first noticed a loud wind-howl coming from the right rear passenger door. I was disappointed that the vehicle had such loud interior noise at highway speed. It wasn't until I encountering heavy freezing rain, that I realized that this moisture was accumulating in the door jamb of the aforementioned door, freezing, and making it impossible to open the door. Upon further inspection, the door was assembled at gm incorrectly and the leading edge of the door was 3/8" out of alignment with the body, so much so that it wasn't even touching the door's leading edge weather strip. This allowed all precipitation and wind to enter the door jam freely and interfere with the function of the door. The contralateral door was assembled correctly for comparison.
