Two problems related to trunk lid have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Lumina. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Exterior paint is peeling all over. Started on the hood,then rear lower door body line, then body line on trunk lid,then passenger quarter panel behind quarter glass window, then driver side quarter panel from gas lid opening all the way back to the tail light and started at body line all the way down to bumper.
Trunk lid has to be held up or it will fall down when released. Yh.
