Three problems related to brake foundation components have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Lumina. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving in the rain and when brakes are applied they don't hold, as a result the driver had an accident, the dealer was contacted and stated that the extremely glazed brakes made it difficult for the vehicle to stop in rainy or wet condition, the vehicles VIN falls within the range for a service bulletin which references this problem but the dealer stated that this recall has nothing to do with his car.
Brakes scrubbing/rubbing when backing up or turning to the right. Nlm.
While backing up or turning to the right brakes make noise.
