The contact stated the accelerator cable frayed. The contact took vehicle to local mechanic for diagnosis. Upon inspection, the mechanic determined that the cable was frayed and unraveling. The mechanic was in contact with the manufacturer several times. The part needed for repairs was not available. The contact has been waiting three weeks for the availability of the part.
