One problem related to service brakes has been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Malibu. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle shakes violently when braking at high speeds and the front end clunks. Dealer stated that the owner over-inflated the tires, rides the brakes which warped the rotors. Owner's company have two vehicles which experienced the same problem.
