One problem related to front seat belt has been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet Malibu. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Driver's side seat belt is cracking. Plastic part cracked in 2 parts where the belts is pulled & locked. Conusmer is afraid that it will eventually affect the seatbelt. Will be contacting the dealer for repairs.
