Three problems related to headlights have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Malibu. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Light has failed twice. Right side brake light does not function. No other lamps have been a problem.
When driving the car upon putting on the brakes the car shakes and vibrates. Sometimes it is violent enough that it is hard to control. This has happened three times. I have had the car fixed twice and waiting for an appointment to have it fixed again. The lights also go dim when you roll the windows down. This was a program car when we purchased it. I need a dependable car for me and my family. Something that I do not believe that this car is.
Possible design flaw of low beam (bulbs) are causing a blind affect, dark spots and shadows in the lighting pattern which could result in an accident due to poor visibility.
