After purchasing a new car at 13,769 front shaking real bad, had dealership replace rotors. At 24,869 miles front end shaking real bad again. Went back to dealership to have replacement done and advised me that florida weather causes the rotors to warp. Chevrolet advised me that was a issue that is not covered under warranty and will not replace even though they know it is defective rotors causing the problem. Dt.

2 Air Brake Disc Rotor problem

Failure Date: 09/07/2001

TSB 00-05-23-002a. Dealer and manufacturer fails to repair problem. Vehicle is unsafe to drive after approximately 5000 miles. Must be repaired to fix safety issue. However, fix is only temporary.

3 Air Brake Disc Rotor problem

Within 8 months I am now on the third set of rotors on a new car. Also, it feels like it is wobbly or shaky in the front tires, possible bad belts, unsure, but worried about the firestone recall going on. ( dot number: 027487 tire size: p215/60r15 ).
