The vehicle was not taken to have the failure diagnosed or repaired. The contact also stated that she smelled a fuel odor upon starting the vehicle. The smell became more pronounced when the air conditioner was turned on. The vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop, but they were unable to diagnose the failure. The contact also noticed an occasional fuel leak when the vehicle was parked. The manufacturer was notified and the contact was informed that the vehicle was not included in the recalls associated with NHTSA campaign id numbers 07e021000 (fuel system, other:storage:tank assembly:pressure relief devices) or 09e012000 (exterior lighting). The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 132,000.
