Tl-the contact owns a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated the vehicle was in stop position at a park lot when another vehicle crashed into contact vehicle. The vehicle horn was inoperable and the contact was unable to alert the other vehicle not to back into her vehicle. The contact believes this failure of the horn was related to the safety recall notification she received NHTSA campaign number 14v25200(electrical system, electronic stability control, exterior light service brakes, hydraulic, vehicle speed control). The contact also stated the brake lights intermently are inoperable. The air bags did not deploy. The contact and the other driver did not sustained any injuries. A police report was filed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified about the failures. The failures occurred numerous of times. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer nor independent mechanic and there was no diagnostic test performed. The approximate failure mileage was unknown. Lb.
