Wiring issues replaced everything new it the charging department 2 times and the problems kept arising thus the computer the pcm fired so idk what went wrong but it's something that needs to be discussed I will never own another Chevrolet car.
My car has electrical problems!!! kicking off all kinds of sensor alarms I. E map,tps,maf. . . Just to name a few I've replaced all of them about 6 times now!!!! my car feels like it's in "limp" mode it keeps losing power and won't allow me to go over 20!!! it's been burning through oil and I know it's slowly going destroy my engine!! this wiring issue need fixed ASAP!.
Wiring harness under carpet corroded and burning. One wire burned all the way back.
The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated that the bulb for the driver side turn signal burned out. The vehicle was taken to a local repair shop where failure diagnostic testing indicated possible bad wiring in the driver side turn signal and there was hole burned into the bulb. The manufacturer was contacted and the contact was advised to bring vehicle to a local dealer so they could perform a failure diagnostic test. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 85,000.

The dealer diagnosed the problem as a bad electrical harness. Updated 1/30/2007 - the abs and traction control illuminated intermittently. The dealer replaced the hub and bearing due to and open left front sensor.
I was driving on the highway when I smelt a smoke smell then about a min later flames started rolling from under the dash. The fd was called and the stated that he believed it came from behind the airbag compartment. Earlier in the day the heater control module was replaced under warranty at randy reed chevy, saint joseph missouri 816. 232. 7704 the fire caused total loss to the car.
